Meet Stacey Schultz
Stacey is the Executive Director of the Marshfield Area Community Foundation. She began working with the Foundation in June of 2019. Stacey brings 30 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Her career as a recreational therapist, promoting community integration, involved relationship building with businesses and community members. Relationship building is Stacey’s strongest asset she brings to the Foundation and to the board of directors. She has a genuine interest in each person’s story. She also brings expertise on how to keep a nonprofit running smoothly and keeping an open line of communication with the board and community members.
She is active with various committees so she can keep a pulse on emerging needs such as the MACY mental health, United Way allocations, United for Community Wellness, Rotary, St Vincent de Paul Community Gardens, MainStreet Marsfhield, and the Marshfield Refugee Relocation Program.
Stacey received a degree in recreational therapy from U.W.-La Crosse and was a certified recreational therapist in Madison, WI., Anchorage, AK, and Marshfield, WI. She is also proud of her start at U.W.S.P.-Marshfield and the many connections made there.
She moved to Marshfield from Minnesota to attend college. She left for 10 years but came back to put down roots with her husband, Rob, who is from Marshfield. They have three children Ruthey, Ella, and Gus and enjoy family time with games and hikes. You can often catch Stacey and Rob walking or biking to and from work together which they love being able to do in this city. Stacey especially loves the tandem bike Rob bought for her birthday. Just call her if you ever want to go for a spin!
